DICA moedigt wetenschappelijk onderzoek aan vanuit de overtuiging dat dit een belangrijk instrument is tot verdere kwaliteitsverbetering. Deelnemers aan de registraties mogen onder strikte voorwaarden gegevens uit de registratie gebruiken voor wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Aanvragen worden op meerdere niveaus getoetst.

Er zijn nog geen gegevens uit de EPSA-database beschikbaar voor onderzoek. De database moet eerst gevuld worden met voldoende betrouwbare gegevens. Op een later tijdstip beschrijven we hier hoe u aanvragen voor wetenschappelijk onderzoek indient.

DICA and ERNICA consider scientific research culminating in evidence-based medicine, of vital importance to enhance quality of care and therefore supports initiatives to use data collected in the EPSA to that end. Scientific proposals to use the data are each reviewed thoroughly following a specific application, ensuring the data is utilized carefully, optimally and resulting in sound scientific evidence.

As the EPSA|ERNICA Registry is currently being built, entered data is not yet considered to be sufficient, accurate and complete. Consequently at this time the data is not yet available. As soon as this changes, the application procedure to obtain access to the data will be published here.
